What To Expect

Each session is private and exclusive.
Your instructor will guide you through the process of creating your very own fresh lei all while learning about different styles of lei along with the many different flowers and foliage that are used.
All materials needed to create your lei are provided.
Flowers and foliage are locally sourced here on the island of Hawai'i.
Enlightening conversation will bring focus to the culture of Hawaiʻi.
We hope upon completion of your lei that you have gained a greater understanding and respect for Hawaiʻi.

Know Before You Book

In Hawaiʻi lei are created from many different types of flowers and foliage. The orchid, known for its long lasting beauty, is often used for lei making and we do our best to incorporate orchids in this experience as much as possible. Although, at times due to unfavorable weather and importance of sustainability, orchids may not be available through out the year. We utilize what is available and in season. Therefore, we can not guarantee a specific flower that will be provided.

Children are welcome to participate, though adult supervision is required. Due to the process and materials utilized, this is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Adults must accompany anyone 17 years and younger. No exceptions.
Location of session is at a private residence in Waimea, Hawaiʻi.
Session is held outdoors with weather permitting.
In Hawaiʻi it is customary to remove your shoes before entering a home. If our session is moved indoors, you will be asked to remove your shoes.

Once your session is booked, you will receive an email including the address of the session.
Cancellations made 14 or more days in advance of your scheduled session will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 8-13 days of your scheduled session are 25% refundable.
Cancellations made within 7 days of your scheduled session are non refundable.
No-Shows are non-refundable.

The health and safety of our family, community, and guests is our top priority. Safety protocols are in place and safety measures will be taken to ensure the health and safety of all participating.
Face masks are welcome however, no longer required.
High touch points and tools utilized are sanitized before your arrival.
